Annual General Meeting

The club's Annual General Meeting will take place at the new clubhouse at Larkstone Cove at 6.30pm on 15th May 2008. It will also be the opening of the new building and there will be a barbeque (weather permitting).

All Change at the Top!

It is with regret that we have to announce that Vicky has decided to step down from being the Chairperson of the club, and I'm sure you would all join me in saying a huge thank you to her for all her hard work since she took over the role. This means of course that we are now on the lookout for another willing volunteer to take on the job, anyone interested should let one of the committee members know so that things can be sorted out at the next committee meeting on Monday 12th November.

End of Season Party Report

The ferrets made a much anticipated return to once again be the star attractions at one of our events. Although they were pushed very close for that accolade by Andy and Paul who did an absolutely amazing job with the barbeque. There were a variety of stalls , including a sponging board (if I can get the photo of Carole from someone then it will be included, watch this space!)

We were blessed with a beautiful September evening and the event was very well attended. Overall we raised about £500 which will be put towards the costs of the winter pool sessions.

IYCC Clubhouse

Work on the clubhouse is well underway with the roof joists in place and the new floor laid. Internal storage facilites and decorating will soon need to be done, and any help will be welcome. Please contact us if you are able to give any time. Photos of the work so far will follow shortly.
